Help for Households is a campaign set up by the UK government in an effort to easily display all the financial help available from them, and what you’d need to be considered for such. This ranges from help with energy bills, childcare costs, transport costs and a few others.

Turn2Us Benefits Calculator

Turn2Us is a national charity that helps those experiencing hardship gain access to welfare benefits and grants. Similarly to the Help for Households initiative, Turn2Us’ benefits calculator can tell you if you’re entitled to any benefits that you aren’t currently claiming. All it takes is a short survey via their website, and Turn2Us will do all the extra legwork for you. This is a must-do for anybody experiencing financial hardship right now.

National Energy Action

National Energy Action is a free advice service that provides support on heating and bills to households across England and Wales, with the hope of one-day ending fuel poverty. They’re willing to help with a broad spectrum of energy and heating-based worries, and their incredible advisors will do all they can to help put your mind at ease.

Sust-It is a UK-based comparison site that helps you work out which products are going to be the cheapest to run, as well as breaking down these costs in easy-to-understand tables. This website is fantastic for checking which of your household items is causing your energy bills to skyrocket, or simply calculating which appliance will be the cheapest to cook with.
